Dear Lori, When your father's name appeared in the obits, I recognized it immediately because his sister, Mildred, was my mother's best friend, so when I was a little girl, I knew of her little brother. So now, we can express our sympathy to you and your family for your loss. May God grant His peace and comfort. Mike and Ardith (DeVries) Matthysse, Lake Placid, Florida Ardith Matthysse

Lori - I am so very sad to hear that your Dad passed away. Roger and I have such fond memories of all the times we had out to Big Pine Island - his golfing with Dad and Jerry Doyle - pig roasts, too many things to mention. I understand the sadness that you feel as my Mom passed away on March 27 of this year and Dad just two weeks ago on May 28. Such a sad time. We will never forget, always love our parents and try and find peace in that our parents are together once again. Hugs to you and your family. Chris and Roger Scheiern Roger and Chris Scheiern
