Pete Mesman, age 88, of Hudsonville, formerly of Hull, Iowa, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 4, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Mesman; grandson, Eric Mesman; brothers, Martin Mesman, Gerald Mesman; brothers-in-law, Jerace VandeGriend, Henry Koning.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Joyce (VandeGriend) Mesman; children, Kathy (Mike Donelan) Visser, Michael (Julie) Mesman, Sheri (Kenneth) Larsen; daughter-in-law, Darlyn Mesman; 12 grandchildren, Korey (Tara), Jamie, Kari, Jeremy, Daniel (Brittney), Tyler, Conner, Lindsey, Jesse (Heather), Brittney (Bryant), Colton, Destiny; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Elsie VanEssen, Ann Blom; sisters-in-law, Lila (Donald) Boer, Myrna Koning, Veralyn (Mert) Plender, Clarice VandeGriend; and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 11 am at Georgetown Christian Reformed Church, 6475 40th Ave, Hudsonville,  with Rev. Marc Nelesen officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 10 to 10:50 am at the church  prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Western Christian High School in Hull, Iowa.
