Perry Robert Coffman Jr.

Perry Robert Coffman Jr, age 85, passed away on Sunday, December 5th, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry Coffman Sr. and Lucinda Coffman; wife of 30 years, Maureen Gatley; daughters, Deborah Karas, Diane Karas, and Laura Coffman. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jan Porter-Coffman; daughters, Cindy (Stephen) Kranenberg, Renee Blett; sons, Mike (Christina) Coffman and Shane Coffman; son-in-law, Steve Karas; grandchildren, Jenniffer Karas, Brandy Karas, Brooke Kranenberg, Brandon Kranenberg, Travis Blett, Christopher Blett, Kayleigh Coffman, Justin Coffman, Jacob Coffman, Samantha Karas, Shayna Metcalf, Paige Balczak, and Taylor Balczak; several great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Marcia) Coffman, nephews, Paul (Marci) Coffman, and Steve Coffman. In December of 1988, Perry built and started Coffman Auto Glass & Trim which was the pride of his life for over 30 years. He loved his work at the shop and running his own business, retiring at the young age of 84. He also had an outside passion for the water and his boats and enjoyed boating anywhere on Lake Michigan. He will be remembered for his witty personality, fun sense of humor, and his giving heart to care for people in need. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 13, at 11:00 am at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming, with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday, December 11 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, as well as an hour prior to the service at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 Division Ave, Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Mel Trotter Ministries or The Guiding Light.
