Joan Wildman

Peggy “Joan” Wildman, age 91, of Allendale, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 28, 2022, and awaits the resurrection to meet her Lord. Joan enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling around the country, and volunteering at Love INC and Hinsdale Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Durward Wildman. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joni and Mike Baker, Patti and Tim Carlson, Greg and Dineen Wildman; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Richard and Lorraine Lane; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Janet and Chuck Schlunt, Louis and Reinette Wildman, and Gordon and Lissa Wildman; and seven nieces and nephews. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a private burial of cremains will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Maranatha Volunteers International.
