Remembering Peggy Lee Smith

Peggy Lee Smith, age 72, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Smith; father, Wiley Thompson; brother, Gary and sister, Janet.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Stacy and Mike Petersen, Jeff and Sara Smith; grandchildren: Kyle, Kenny, and Katie Petersen, Casey and Holly Phillips; special niece, Melissa Hess; mother, Mary Thompson; 2 sisters; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Peggy’s life will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Gilda's Club.

Dear Sister, I have memories of being a six year old who knew her sister loved her. She would always write me note before she left for school, no one else can say that! We didn't always keep in contact thru the years as we should. No one could have ever said you weren't smart as a whip, you always were. So, our youngest sister Lisa, saw a Beautiful sight on her way back from being with you..it was a sign to us and it was your Name on a sign..with a heart felt like that you were sending her your love.
