Peggy Ann Solberg, age 67, of Grandville, MI formerly of Madison, WI, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Solberg; parents, Richard and Marilyn Christy; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clayton and Shirley Solberg; brother-in-law, Jim Solberg. Peggy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Dan; children, Beth and Scott Daigger, Susan Solberg; granddaughter, Sophie Daigger; siblings, Bruce Christy, Steven and Carrie Christy; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Steve Solberg, Tom Solberg, Mary Solberg, Mike Solberg, Linda Solberg, Nancy Solberg. Peggy loved to read, walk, bike, and spend time with her family. Per Peggy’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Stroke Association.

Dear Dan, Beth and Susan,
I was so very saddened to see Peg's obituary in the paper yesterday. I felt so badly after I last saw her at the Verona Library after her stroke. When I saw that you had moved out of your home, Dan, down the street from my daughter, I never knew how to get in touch anymore. I know things were difficult for all of you and I am so sorry for your loss. Peg was such a sweet lady and a good parent to converse with when we had conferences, Susan. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Peggy at DPI and loved to talk with her about knitting and good books. We'd laugh over how many we had piled up! She gave me the best author recommendations. I hope that your good memories will help to ease the pain of her passing.

I moved back to La Crosse recently, and was shocked and sad to see Peg's obit in the Tribune. We lost touch over the years, but I fondly remember her intellect, humor, and good heart. I'm sure her qualities resulted in a life well-lived. My deepest condolences to Dan and family.
