Paulette Newberry

Paulette Newberry, age 79, of Grandville, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Paulette was a loving wife, mother, and nana. She cherished her family deeply and spent every moment with them between sporting events and get-togethers. Paulette and Jack loved traveling, especially cruising in the Caribbean. She was preceded in death by her six siblings, Walter and Mickey Dyer, Martin and Mary Francis Dyer, Leona and Frank Hoffmeister, George Dyer, Dorothy Mackey, Iva Jean, and Pete Smith; brother-in-law, Bill Newberry. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Jack Newberry; children, John Newberry, Jeff Newberry, Tom and Stacie Newberry; grandchildren, Austin Newberry, Hannah Newberry, Jacob Newberry, Samantha Newberry, Grace Newberry, Matthew Newberry; sister, Nina Lee Dyer; sister-in-law, Connie Newberry; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jim and Pat Norton. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. The burial will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
