Paula Carol Boese

Paula Carol Boese, age 87, of Grand Rapids, MI and formerly of Petoskey, MI, went home to be with her Lord on Monday morning, June 22, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted; parents, Walter and Paula Schriefer; and brother, CDR Walter Schriefer. She and Ted were married July 19, 1958 and were blessed with 3 children: Tania, Eric, and Lori; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, 105 Greenwood St., Petoskey, MI 49770 on Thursday, July 2 at 11 a.m. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2900 Burton St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.

DearTania, Lori , and Erick, May our loving Savior grant you His care and strength, after the loss of your mother Paula. She is in Heaven, rejoicing with our Savior. This is Rachel writing now.My impression of Aunt Paula is that she lived a life of adventure, before she became wife and mother, which is an adventure in itself. There are never words for grief, but she will be missed. It is comforting to know that she may well be singing in the choir up in Heaven, with Grandpa and Grandma Schriefer. Sending my love and hugs to you, during this time. Cynthia and Hans again: When God calls us, we will all be there, rejoicing together. What a happy day that will be; so full of joy!
