Paul Thieme

Paul Otto Thieme, age 86, of Wyoming, passed away with his family surrounding him  on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Scott Thieme. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Donna; children, Paul and Marci  Thieme, Steve and Debbie Thieme, Jodie Thieme, Terri and Steve McCarthy, Lisa and Roger Kloosterhouse; grandchildren, Paul (Mary) , Steven, Julie (Ryan),  Jennifer (Evan), Mike (Ting), Kristi, Michael, Samantha and Karl; great grandchildren, Sophie and Owen; his sister, Joyce (Richard) Bogardus; he will also be missed by his friend Mary Wager and her family. Paul retired from the US Post Office after walking his mail routes for 37 years. He taught his children the importance of a good work ethic, and was proud of their accomplishments. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 11-12 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, 12 pm at the funeral home, with Rev. John Vallier presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
