Paul Russo

RUSSO - Mr. Paul Q. Russo aged 85 went to be with his Lord, Friday, July 26, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Russo; parents, Salvatore "Sam" and Josephine Sella Russo; sister, Mamie Artlip; brothers, Frank, Sam Jr., and Quentin Russo; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Russo; grandson, Shawn Russo; nephews, Marvin Bolser and Michael Artlip; niece, Debra Ann Meade. Surviving are his son, James Russo; granddaughter, Dawn TerBeek; sisters, Mary (Luey) Meade, Josephine Russo; brother, John Russo; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Paul proudly served his country in the US Army and retired from GM after many years of service. He worked hard and had a great love and generous spirit for his family, friends and Church. Paul was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a former Little League coach, enjoyed Bingo and will be fondly remembered for being a regular at Mr. Burger for breakfast. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00AM Friday, August 2, 2019 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 101 Hall St. SE. The family will greet relatives and friends Thursday from 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave., and one hour prior to Mass at Church. Prayers will be offered Thursday at the funeral chapel by the Knights of Columbus at 7PM and Prayers of the Rosary will be recited at 7:30PM. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
