ROBERTS - Paul Roberts, age 80, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife and children on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Sr. and Lydia Roberts; brother, Martin Roberts; sister, Nancy Roberts. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rose Marie (Heitz) Roberts; children, David (Nancy) Roberts, Richard (Maria) Roberts, Linda (Mark) Doornbos, Laura Munjoy, Lisa (Paul) Bussell; grandchildren, Sarah Busche-Vold, Brian Roberts, Derek Roberts, Jennifer Dong, Daniel Roberts, Betsy Bussis, Michael Munjoy, Kate Doornbos, Steven Munjoy, Ellen Doornbos, Kristen Doornbos, Brandon Roberts, Keegan Bussell, Kyra Bussell; great grandchildren, Amelia, Eli, Hailee, Jacob, Owen, Bentley, Austin, Koen, Curtis, Rhys, and one more on the way; sisters, Maryanne Host and Betty Norman. Paul was a member of Knights of Columbus 13526. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing, and gardening but mostly spending time with his family. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Thursday at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 6369 Belmont Ave. NE, Belmont. The family will greet relatives and friends 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont with prayers of the rosary recited at 7:30 PM and one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
