Mrs. Patsy L. Little, aged 64, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 19, 2013 surrounded by her family. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved and loving husband of 43 years, Morris; precious daughter, Patricia Little; her grand dog, Abbi who she adored; loving father-in-law and mother-in-law, Allen and Mabel Little; sister-in-law, Mary (Dick) Putney; brother, Berney Bartlett Jr.; many nieces and nephews. Pat leaves a legacy of strong faith regardless of the circumstances she faced. She was an inspiration to the many people she met along her journey. She fought many battles along the way and conquered each one through her strong faith and hard work. Pat's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed doing crafts, bird watching especially the Downy Woodpeckers outside her window, reading, watching Alabama Football and Tennessee Women's Basketball games, and cheering for her favorite Nascar driver Kevin Harvick. She had a strong love of Gospel and Country music as well as reading her Bible daily. Pat completed many college courses at WCCC. She and Morris enjoyed traveling over the years, sporting events, scenic rides and time spent up north. While Trish was growing up, Pat loved taking part in her Girl Scouts, school field trips and activities, always having kids over, attending her cheer leading and softball games, and proudly seeing her off to college. She enjoyed her many friends along life's journey often reminiscing of these moments. One of her proudest moments was traveling to Grand Rapids and staying at her daughter's house where she had free reign throughout even enjoying outside activities. She was preceded in death by her parents, Berney Bartlett and Dorothy Hensley; brother, Jerry Bartlett. A celebration of her life will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., with visitation from 1PM to 3PM. Interment Gilmore Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society/Relay for Life.
