Patricia Herlevich, age 86, of Kentwood, peacefully passed into the arms of her savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ron Hackert; her daughter, Susan Herlevich Taylor; grandson, Lee Michael Taylor; granddaughter, Jensina Claire Waterman. She will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband of 65 years, Frank; children, Kathy Waterman, Lynn (Chuck) Rowe; son-in-law, Lee (Anne) Taylor; grandchildren, Paul (Nicole) Taylor, Annalise (Tim) Yearling, Nathan (Megan) Taylor, Arianna (Anthony) Tatasciore, Mark (Hannah) Taylor, Alena Taylor, Brad (Kacie) Rowe, Jacob Rowe, Nick Rowe, Angie Waterman, Lucas Waterman, Mazie Waterman; step grandchildren, Andrea, Kristen and Beth, and their seven children; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Christian, Cole, Kate, Michaela, Mary, Henry, Lucy, Lorraine, Clayton, Alexander, Evelyn, Scarlett, and baby due; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Pat was a warm, loving, caring woman who planted seeds of God’s goodness in the hearts of all she met and was a prayer warrior for those who needed to be remembered in prayer. She was a wonderful woman who enjoyed gardening, traveling to Mexico, and the UP along Lake Superior. She also enjoyed working with Frank to remodel their homes and cottages at Nichols Lake for countless people to enjoy and build lasting memories. Their marriage truly was made in heaven and was a living example of love for each other. Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday, April 25 at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 1253 52nd St. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Peter Vu officiating. Burial Garfield Park Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 4-6 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to these charities that Pat cared about: Red Cross for Ukraine, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Paws with a Cause.
