PATRICIA (PATTI) ANN GARCIA (GIELCZYK)

Patti A. Garcia, 71 went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 15, 2021. She was born to Al and Betty (Duskey) Gielczyk in Manistee, Michigan on May 9, 1949.

Patti graduated from Manistee High school. Following graduation she worked at several businesses in the Manistee Area. She had been living in Kentwood, Michigan for the past 30 years where she made several lasting friendships. For the past 4 months she had been residing  at Spectrum Nursing Home.

Patti attended Anchor Community Church in Cutlerville where she enjoyed her Faith Community Family.  She was also known as the “card lady” as she enjoyed sending cards to anyone who had a Birthday, Anniversary, or just needed to be lifted up. Patti also was an amazing cook and known for her “Homemade” chocolate cake and Peanut Butter Pie. A very special thank you to the 4 ladies from Volunteers in Service who played a very important part in her well being. In addition to her parents she was predeceased in death  by a very dear Grandson, Jesse Marcum in 2018. Surviving is  her Daughter, Melinda A. Marcum of Kentucky, Randy (Sue) Garcia of Scottville, Michael (Cindy) of Scottville, Phillip of Ludington, and Melissa of Manistee. A sister and brother-in-law Bob and Jeanne Ridderman of Plainwell, a brother, Alan Gielczyk of Wilmar, MN, two  nephews and their family.  Justin (Carolyn) Ridderman and Andy (Alysha) Ridderman. Grandchildren: Jason, Olivia, Daman, Sabrina, and Emily.  One Great Grand daughter Emma Elizabeth.  One great niece Layne Elizabeth, Two great nephews Bennett and Lawson Ridderman. A very dear friend, Toni Johnson.

A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday May 8, 2021 at 11:00 at Grandville Baptist Church 4325 40^th Street, Grandville, MI.  Visitation will be one half hour before the service.
