Pat Boggs

Pat (Beav) Boggs, age 61, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 6, 2019. Pat was a loving wife, mother, and nana who always put others first before herself;  she took care of her mother for many years. Pat was a dear friend to many. She was a dedicated employee at Javery Pain Institute (JPI), and was recently promoted as Office Manager. She loved scrapbooking, puzzles, crocheting, and camping. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Larabee, sister, Mic Spangler, and brother, Dan Larabee. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Douglas; children, Nikki Boggs, Joshua and Melissa Boggs, Jessica and Adam Goetsch, Douglas Boggs Jr.; grandchildren, Alyssa, Cierra, Auston, Braylie, Anabella, Paisley, Avalyn, Jensen, and Penelope; dogs, Dakota and Henry; mother, Betty Babcock; siblings, Babe Mann, Nancy and Glen Dexter, Jeff Larabee, and Kim Larabee; several nieces and nephews; many friends, and the JPI family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at  12 noon at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Pastor Nate Lowe officiating. A lunch with family and friends will be held at Madison Ave. Missionary Baptist Church, 5757 Madison Ave. SE, Kentwood immediately following the service. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10-11:45 am at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Madison Ave MBC.
