Pamela Sue Guyott

Pamela (Pam) Sue Guyott of Caledonia, passed away on Sunday, June 4th, 2023 at home with her family by her side. She was 77 years old. Pam was born April 19th, 1946 in Hastings, Michigan where she grew up and graduated from Thornapple Kellogg High School in 1964. She moved to Caledonia and married Wilbert (Bing) Guyott in 1967. Family was very important to Pam and she loved it when everyone gathered at her house for bonfires, pool parties, and family reunions. She was affectionately known as Grandma to most people, but her grandkids and great grandkids called her Grandma Ma’am. Though Pam’s health was failing for years, few people knew the extent to which she struggled. Her joy for life and family kept her pushing through the pain. Surviving are her daughters, April (Tom) Dewitt, Faith Guyott; grandchildren, Rachele (Drew) Hammock, Lance Dewitt, Collin (Renea) Dewitt, Allie Brush; great grandchildren, Alexis, MaKenzie, Rylee, Noah, Madison, Landon, Mason, Luke, Huck; siblings, Rex (Pam) Burghdoff, Tom (Bonnie) Burghdoff, Dan (Darla) Burghdoff, Michele Burghdoff; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bing Guyott; and her grandsons, Brandon and Luke Dewitt. Memorial services will be held 11 am Saturday, June 10 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. Relatives and friends may meet the family at 10 am for visitation before services. A luncheon will follow.
