Orville Vander Zand

Orville Vander Zand, 82, beloved husband, father and precious child of God, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 and is now safely home with his Savior Jesus Christ. He will be greatly missed by his cherished wife of 32 years, Mary Jane; his children, Shirley (Dave) Utrup, Kenneth (Patricia) Vander Zand, Carol Groth and Bonnie Sieting; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers; Earl Vander Zand, Robert (Kay) Vander Zand; sister-in-law, Marilyn Wessell; brother-in-law, Louis Wagner; and many nieces and nephews. Orville was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Eloise Jean; three sisters, two brothers, and an infant granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Friday 10:30 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. with Rev. David Van Brugge officiating. Interment Kent Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 6-9 pm at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Plymouth Christian School or Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary.
