Orpha Meyers

MEYERS - Orpha Meyers, aged 92 of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013. She was preceded in death by her son, Fredrick Meyers; daughter, Orpha Meyers; grandson, Fredrick Averill; brothers, Ted and Tom Cleason. Surviving are her children, Bud Frances, Gail (Jerry) Washburn, Roseline (Francis) Hoag; grandchildren, Jerry Washburn II, Peggy (Jeff) Jacobs, Christine (Ron) VanRooyen, Chatelle Averill, Francis (Nikki) Hoag, Michelle Meyers, Janet Meyers, Judy Meyers, Julie Meyers; 29 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; brother, Henry Cleason; her pastor and friend, Ed Bottun. Orpha was a member of Koinonia Church of Grand Rapids and worked for McInerney Spring and Wire and The Globe for many years. Funeral services will be 11:00 Friday, April 26 at Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. The family will greet relatives and friends Thursday 6 to 8 PM and Friday one hour prior to the service. Interment Kent Memorial Gardens.
