Olivia Mary Clay

Olivia Mary Clay, age 96, of Grand Rapids, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on May 13, 2020.  She was born on October 29, 1923 in Port Perry, Ontario, Canada to Stephen and Mary Osaduke, one of eight children.  Olivia Mary married Jack Shaughnessy in 1948 in Canada and they had three children, Thomas Clay, James Clay, and Anne Hart.  Her first husband, Jack, passed away in 1954.  Olivia Mary then married Donald V. Clay (deceased 1997) of Grand Rapids, MI in June of 1962.  Donald and Olivia Mary had two sons, Patrick Clay and Sean Clay.  Olivia Mary was also step-mother to Donald’s children from his first marriage to Marian Clay (deceased 1961); son, Donald C. Clay (deceased 2018) of Lowell, Mary Young of Ohio, Margie Clay of Oregon, and Robert E. Clay of Grand Rapids.  Olivia Mary has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss her.  Olivia Mary enjoyed visits from her family and reading a good novel.  If you wish to remember Olivia Mary, please consider a memorial donation to Forgotten Man Ministries in Grand Rapids.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
