Olga E. Ratliff

Olga E. Ratliff, aged 79 of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 21, 2019. She was preceded in death by her son, Steve; parents, Jesus “Jessie” and Corinne Saenz; and brother, Robert James Saenz. Olga is survived by her children, Mary Ratliff, Tim (Lorri) Ratliff; seven grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. Olga was a devoted mother and grandmother with a servant’s heart. She enjoyed going to Rolling Stones and Elton John concerts, reading, watching old movies, and being with family. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 25 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Fr. John Vallier presiding. Friends and relatives may meet the family from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave. SW, and on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at church. Inurnment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

I just saw the obit, too late to attend the funeral. Olga and I were best buddies in grade school. We lived just a few houses apart from each other and did just about every thing together. I lost contact with her after the family moved, and I never knew her married name. I'm sad to find her when she has passed away. Glad to find that she had a large family that loved her. My Sympathy goes out to you all.

Dear Mary, Tim, Lorrie & all of Olga's beloved grandchildren, her photo just reminded me, she was one of the most beautiful woman I've ever known.
