Quist, Norman Jack Norman Jack Quist, age 85, of Kentwood, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 29, 2012.  As a member of the US Army, he proudly served our country during the Korean War.  He was a dedicated employee of the Grand Rapids Press for 42 years.  He was preceded in death by his son, Norman John Quist, Jr.; mother, Margaret Ward.  He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Ronald William Quist; daughter, Dawn Michelle (Jeff) Fuller; 6 grandchildren, Emilee, Hannah, Mallory, Todd, Brittney, Sierra; the mother of his children, Shirley (Gilbert) Saunders; sister, Marilyn (Tom) Van Portfliet; nephew and nieces, David, MaryBeth and Lisa.  Funeral services will be held on Monday 2 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive.  Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
