Remembering Norma Lou Baker
Norma Lou (Babe) Baker, age 88, of Wyoming, was called to her heavenly home on Friday, July 26, 2019. She was preceded in death by her great grandson, Brandon Esbaugh, three brothers and one sister. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 71 years, Lyle (Lud); children, Linda (Baker) and Thomas Delaney, Jake and Pam Baker, Rene and Cis Baker, Brian and Myrna Baker; grandchildren, Lisa Esbaugh, Amy and Paul Galvan, Jason Baker, Damon and Sarah Baker, Kristina and Dave Perry, Zachary Baker; step grandchildren and great grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Norma Lou was a kind, fun loving, compassionate, generous woman who was loved by all that came to know her. She had the kindest heart and cared for everyone she met. She was adventurous, the life of the party and enjoyed the social life, especially dancing with her sweetheart, Lud. Norma Lou was dedicated to her Catholic faith and her family. She loved her grandchildren, making friends with children in restaurants and other public places and protecting animals from spiders to dogs and squirrels. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday at 11 am at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1630 Godfrey Ave., Wyoming with Fr. Stephen Dudek presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 5 - 8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with a rosary service at 7:30 pm. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to their favorite charity.
