Holmquist, Norene June Norene June Holmquist, age 79, of Grandville, was peacefully called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 18, 2014.  She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Lee, and brothers, Warren Pikaart and Ronald Pikaart.  Norene retired as an office manager from Kohl and Madden after many years of faithful service. She loved her family and was kind, caring, and selfless. She was very active in her church in may ways. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Robert; children, Bruce Holmquist, Lori and Tim Fisher; grandchildren, Michael Post-Holmquist, Kelly Jo Sullivan, Stacey and Marcus Brewer; great granddaughter, Sophie; step grandchildren, Fawn and Keith Henry; great grandchildren, Gavin, Levi and Lillian Henry, Brenden and Dyllan Brewer; sister, Alice Pikaart.  Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 1 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. with Pastor John Dubois officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 12-1 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Attic Ministries at Wyoming Park Bible Fellowship, 2260 Porter St. SW, Wyoming, MI 49519.
