Nola Jean “Sherri” Tewksbury, age 87, of Belmont, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Sherri retired from Spectrum Butterworth as an EKG Technician after over 30 years. She also played piano and organ professionally for many years at restaurants and dinner clubs both in Michigan and California. She was a huge Elvis fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale E. Tewksbury. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Dennis (Liz) Swanson, Greg (Peg) Tewksbury, Ruth Ann Tewksbury, Diane Tewksbury Miller; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters: Gloria, Noreen; brother, Bruce (Lona); many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday December 29, 2020 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 12-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Due to gathering restrictions, there will be a limit on the number of people who may enter the building at a time. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or American Cancer Society.
