Nicholas Jacob Barrix, age 24, of Hudsonville, was unexpectedly called to his heavenly home on Saturday, July 25, 2020. He was preceded in death by his grandfather and his great-grandparents. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Amy Barrix; father, Jack Barrix; grandparents, Mike and Cheryl Deyman, Mary and Al Keiffer; daughter, Sophia and her mother, Kelcey Porter; sisters, Skyler (Adam) Brouwer, Madison Barrix (fiancé, Cameron DeHaan); niece, Ava; nephew, Johnathan; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and best friend, Tyler.  Nicholas was a loving and caring father, son, grandson, and friend to many.  He was the middle child of triplets.  Nick loved hunting, spending time with Sophia, traveling, and motorcycle riding.  He was a dedicated employee of Herman Miller in Zeeland.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4101 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, with Fr. John Vallier presiding.   Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, July 31, from 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, as well as on Saturday from 9-10 a.m. at the church.   Memorial contributions may be made to Chase Bank in care of Sophia Barrix.
