DUPY- Nelson H. Dupy, Jr., aged 72 passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015, after living with ALS for 6 years. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 41 years Karen; his sister, Marcia (Perguson) and brother, David and will be dearly missed. He will also be remembered by his extended family, in-laws, nieces and nephews, all of whom he enjoyed sharing his many humorous daily living quotes. Nelson had a bucket list he strived to complete and was successful in achieving almost all of his goals. Hopefully, he will be remembered for his sense of humor, his work ethic, family relationships and the value he placed on friendships. In lieu of flowers, Nelson would enjoy seeing you raise a glass, hug someone special and donate a little to your favorite cause. At Nelson's request, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be welcomed from 2 to 6PM Saturday, June 13, 2015 to share their memories and celebrate his life at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. A brief tribute reflecting on Nelson's life is planned for approximately 3:30pm to 4pm.
