Nellie Slachter

Nellie Katherine Slachter, age 84, of Grandville, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Lynn Cope. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Nelson; children, Mark and Diane Slachter, David and Sue Slachter, Bonnie and Paul Andrews; 4 grandchildren, Melissa and Michael Zonyk, Kelli and Eric Lanning, Nathan and Andrea Slachter, Heidi Slachter; 9 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Elmer and Marion Slachter. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Lee Buer officiating. Interment will be held at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
