Nellie (Nell) Vander Klok Booy, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Margaret Vander Klok, and her husband, John William Booy. She loved Jesus with all her heart and served Him according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Her greatest gift was salvation from Jesus. Her favorite Bible passages were Ephesians 2:8-9, Psalm 139:1-6, and Psalm 63:1-8. Her great blessings were her husband John of 68 years; son John D. Booy, and daughters, Janice Booy, and Barbara Pepper with whom she spent quality time; grandchildren, Andrea (Jason) Gotcher, Eric (Kim) Pepper, Seth (Kafui) Booy, and Joshua Booy; great grandsons, James and Mark Gotcher, Klay Pepper, and Dinesh Booy; brother Reverend Don (Jan) Vander Klok, sisters-in-law, Mae DeBoer and Elberta Mulder, and many nieces and nephews. Her family will miss her greatly. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr., Grandville, with Reverend Don Vander Klok officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with Nell’s family on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment at Winchester Cemetery, Byron Center. Those planning on an expression of sympathy are asked to consider The Potter’s House.
