Nathan Lee Beals, age 37, of Grand Rapids went to be with his Father on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Michelle; children, Cinque, Donna, La’Marcus, Aniyah, Manette, Avion, Krysten, A’zahyia; sister, Annie Hightower (her children, Jasmine, Naomi, Maxwell, Lyric); his Grammie, Phyllis Beals; Michelle’s grandmother, Geraldine Krombeen; in-laws, Ken and Carol Warners; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tricia and Jonathan Thomas (their children Caleb, Elaina, Jack, Jed), Jeffrey and Jacobi Warners (their children Taylor, Gracen), Bill Warners and girlfriend Araceli James, Joshua Warners and girlfriend Ashley Damuth, Rachael Warners and boyfriend Justin Tamminga, Abigail Warners, Anocia and Gerome Gaie (their children Elijah and Shasta); several aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at City Life Church, 574 S. Division Avenue, Grand Rapids. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Those who wish to help offset funeral expenses for the family may make contributions to the funeral home.

Nathan held a special place in my heart. He had such a powerful & beautiful voice. His heart was tender & kind. Love you, Nathan. You will be greatly missed. Praying God will send comfort to the family.

Nathan was a larger than life person with a gentle heart and soul. He had the biggest smile and big laugh. We were family and although we did not see each other as much once we got older, he always made you feel his love and left his mark on your heart. Nathan you are loved and will truly be missed! May you rest in peace!

Nathan was such a caring, gentle guy. We got to know him when he was in high school Varsity Singers with our daughter. Prayers for his family and friends. May God’s blessings and peace give you comfort.
