Nancy Louise Mastbergen, age 61, of Jenison, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. Nancy was a loving wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother. She fought cancer for several years, was very welcoming to new cancer patients, and also spread her love through knitting blankets for other patients in the cancer center. She loved to spread her joy to others and help friends and family in any way she could. Nancy was a witness of faith to others in need. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ardith Hoekstra; father-in-law, Parnell Mastbergen; and brother-in-law, Paul Mastbergen. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Robert Mastbergen; children, John Mastbergen, Tina and Christopher Bourn, and Steven Mastbergen; five grandchildren; father, Arthur Hoekstra; mother-in-law, Ruth Mastbergen; brothers and sister, Allen Hoekstra, Gary and Brenda Hoekstra, Vicky Hoekstra; brothers-in-law, Mark and Karen Mastbergen, David and Judy Mastbergen, Wayne and Karie Mastbergen; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Cottonwood Church, 1101 Cypress Dr., Jenison with Rev. Matthew Palsrok officiating. The service will be livestreamed at https://www.cottonwoodcrc.com/mastbergen. Burial Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10-11 am at church.
