Nancy Driesenga

Nancy L. Driesenga, age 64, of Allendale, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Nancy was a kind and loving wife, mom, and mima who always put others before herself. She retired from Mead-Johnson in Zeeland after 34 years of dedicated employment. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Van Oeveren, and her father-in-law, Harvey Driesenga. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Dan; children, Cheri and Brandon Barnett, Chris Driesenga, Cim and Trevor Slootmaker; grandchildren, Cameron, Austin, and Jackson; mother, Wilma Van Oeveren; mother-in-law, Nellie Driesenga; siblings, Mike and Helena Van Oeveren, Sherry and Bob Bouman, Cindy and Rich Wittingen, Terri Kooinga; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Pam Driesenga, Bob and Christy Driesenga, Ed and Peggy Driesenga; many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Allendale) 6651 Scott St. with Pastor Rob Wondergem officiating. Burial will take place at Allendale Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 12-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
