Nancy Couturier

Nancy Lynn Couturier, age 73, of Grand Rapids went to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 20, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Johanna Gilbert, and her brother, Les Gilbert. Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years, Larry; children, Corey, Joe (Mary), Ted (Chloe); grandchildren, River, Jacob, Levi, Eli, Penny, Sally, Luella, Marilyn, Ronan; brother, Tom (Marieta) Gilbert; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Cheryl Gilbert, Cindy (Jeff) Blaauw, Peggy Couturier; dear cousin, Bonnie (Tom) Oosterbaan; several nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Nancy enjoyed gardening, resale shopping, her church, and walking with her friends in the neighborhood. She cherished her family and supported them in everything they did. Nancy’s family would like to thank special caregivers Sara, Erin, Julia, and Donna from Home Instead Senior Care, and to Faith Hospice for their love and concern shown to Nancy. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Woodview Christian Church, 3785 Woodview Ave. SW, Wyoming with Pastor Chris Pannell officiating. Burial will take place at Graceland Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 3-4 pm prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to assist the family with funeral costs.
