Nancee Wierenga

Nancee Lou Wierenga, age 74, of Wyoming, fought a courageous fight and went to peace in her heavenly home, on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tracy and Tom Tiethof, Brett Wierenga, and Ryan and Kim Wierenga; grandchildren, Mitchell Tiethof, Hannah Wierenga, Hailey Wierenga; sister, Berniece Swank; brother and sister-in-law, James and Roberta DeVoss; step-grandchildren, Jennifer Wright, Lucas Wright, Nicklas Wright; and step-great granddaughter, Natalee Wright. Nancee’s love and commitment to her family and friends was unwavering. She will always be remembered as a hardworking mother, full of love and a sense of adventure. She loved socializing with friends, sharing good food, especially while cheering on U of M. She will be greatly missed, especially her wonderful smile that always lit up a room. A memorial service will be held on Monday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  Relatives and friends may meet the family from 6-8pm on Sunday, and from 10-11am on Monday at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Lack’s Cancer Center or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
