Myra Jo Whitehead

Whitehead, Myra Jo WHITEHEAD – Myra Jo (Wilkey) Whitehead, aged 60 of Middleville passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Mary (Harlow) Wilkey; and brother, Bruce Wilkey. She is survived by her husband, Tony Whitehead; sons, Tony (Michelle) Whitehead Jr., Marty (Chasity) Whitehead; granddaughters, Toni Michelle Whitehead, Emily Marie Whitehead, Amiee Jo Whitehead; great-grandson, Marvin Timothy James Petersen; great-granddaughter, Natalee Marie Whitehead. Myra enjoyed spending time with her family, hunting, fishing and racing. She was faithful and dedicated to her God and church. Funeral services for Myra will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm at the Pentecostals of Kentwood, 2627 – 44th St. SE with Pastor Jay Jones officiating. A dinner will be provided following the funeral service. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 12-2 pm and 6-8 pm and on Thursday from 1-2 pm. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Myra Whitehead Benefit Fund.

I have great memories of working for Roger when I attended Calvin College. He was really good to me and even gave me money to buy warmer boots etc. He always treated me with respect. My condolences to all of you. Bob Koornneef
