Muriel Jean Dekkinga (Zwyghuizen), age 81, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 6, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Maureen Zwyghuizen. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Marvin (Dutch) Dekkinga; children, Valerie (Gary) Christie, Robin (Darrell) Dykehouse, Melanie Baker, Stacy (Paul) Mesman; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Doug (Shirley) Zwyghuizen, Larry (Cyndi) Zwyghuizen; in-laws, Bill (Nancy) Dekkinga, Ena McDonald, Grace (Al) Apotheker, Mary Dekkinga; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Fellowship Church, 6610 36th Ave. Hudsonville with Pastor Shawn Hulst officiating. Burial Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 3 - 5 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
