RAAK - Mrs. Shirley M. Raak aged 66 of Kentwood, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Nichols; sister, Ruth Ann Challa; brother, Harry Nichols. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Terry; children, Melissa (David) Shawver, Terry Raak Jr.; grandchildren, Tyler and David III; brothers, Jim Nichols, Chuck (Pat) Nichols; sister, Charlet (Jack) Horn; sisters-in-law, Janet Raak Peloquin, Rose Nichols; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. Her family will greet relatives and friends Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM, Monday from 6 to 8PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
