Mrs.  Rosemary Brown

BROWN (nee Milhaupt) - Mrs. Rosemary Brown aged 93 went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 25, 2015. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, George; brother, Frederick Milhaupt; sister, Sr. Jean Milhaupt, OP also known to many as Sr. Maris Stella OP. Rosemary is survived by her sister, Marilyn (Larry) Hefferan; brother John (Peg) Milhaupt; several Nieces and Nephews. Rosemary was a active lady over the years, she worked for two years at General Motors War Department during WWII, then many years with LaFrance Industries and later retired from UBC Marketing. She loved her church, St. Francis Xavier, where she was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Altar Society, and worked in the office for years. She was also a Junior Catholic Daughter Leader and spent time as a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital. More recently Rosemary led the Rosary at St. Ann's Home along with being involved in many social activities. She was a little lady who made a big impact on those she loved. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at St. Ann's Home, 2161 Leonard St. NW, Grand Rapids. Her family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, both at St. Ann's Home. Prayers of the Rosary will be recited at 5:00 PM Tuesday evening. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Ann's Home or the Thomas Milhaupt Scholarship Fund at GRCC.
