SCHWEITZER, Mrs. Marie C. Schweitzer aged 90 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 5, 2014. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, George in 2012; brothers, Ernest Heitz, Henry Heitz; sisters, Leona Host, Juliana Hutchings and Betty Scott. She is survived by her children, Kathryn (Paul) Yancey of TN, Michele (John) Robinson of IN, Debra Schweitzer of SC, Nancy (Dale) Magoon of Fremont, MI; grandchildren, Jonathan (Andrea) Yancey, Katie (Dusty) Nance, Rebecca (Brian Droski) Princell, Jennifer (Doug Strott) Scott, Eric (Susie) Scott, Andrea (Brent Talley) Magoon, Molly Magoon; great grandchildren, Travis, Allison, Nolan, Ashley, Abigail, Sierra, Gavin, Ethan, Dylan, Rowan and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Heitz, Mary Lou Ozolins and Mildred Muczynski. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, July 25, 2014 at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1200 Alpine Church Rd. Comstock Park. Her family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will take place at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
