Mrs.  Lillian Baatz

We regret and mourn the passing of Lillian L. Baatz following an extended illness at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan on December 11, 2013. She was born in Evanston, IL on May 21, 1939. She spent many years of her adult life as a resident of Grand Rapids, MI. She worked at Edward D. Jones and Company in downtown Grand Rapids and later on in her life achieved her realtor's license. She was very helpful to many people and enjoyed making their life better. Some of her hobbies were pinochle, bingo, bowling, she had a deep love for all her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Augdahl-Last of WI and Elanore Saagman of Hudsonville; her children, Stephanie Burgess, Tamara Vandewettring, Trace Baatz, Elizabeth Schlink; her grandchildren, Colin Yonkers, Dakota Vandewettring, Kelsey Vandewettring, Nichole Dozeman, Anthony Hood, Chassity Sutton, Rochelle Mitts, Gregory Mitts; great grandchildren, Kistianna Baatz, Xavier Sutton, Joshua Leach and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Nadine Deanna Corder Mitts Blake. Also surviving are former husbands, Milton "Lee" Burgess of Grand Rapids, MI, and Robert Baatz of Oregon.
