Mrs. Jeannette Palmer

PALMER - Mrs. Jeannette Palmer, age 90, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 17, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Alden Thomas Palmer. She is survived by her sister, Virginia L. Droegmyer. Jeannette will be lovingly remembered by her four children, Timothy (Nancy) Palmer, Andrew (Lou Ann) Palmer, Daniel (Christie) Palmer, Marilyn (Lynn) Berry, as well as eight grand children and twenty great grandchildren. She was a graduate of Godwin Heights High School and attended Michigan State University for two years before enlisting in the Navy for the war effort. She married Tom in 1946 and started raising a family. She worked for Godwin School District for nineteen years and was a life long member of Southlawn Church of God in Wyoming, MI.
