Mrs.  Janice Raymond

Janice Anne Raymond of Ada, Michigan, age 80, entered into everlasting life with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 3, 2015. Janice was born in Lansing, Michigan on May 16, 1935 and graduated from Haslett High School and Michigan State University. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Florence Miller. Jan is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Gary; their children, John (Tammy) Raymond, Georgia (Craig) Burton, Gina (Tim) Schierbeek; grandchildren, Jessica, Chelsea, Schae, Ciara, Andi, Kelli, DaeQuan, Elise, Hannah, Sydney, Josh and Ariel; brothers, Neville Miller, Noel Miller, Jeff (Karen) Miller; sisters, June (Jerry) Ferguson, Marilyn (Thom) Evans, Donelda Miller; and sister in law, Joan Talmage. Jan was a faithful follower of Jesus, a loving and devoted wife, an incredible mom and grandma, a wonderful sister, a caring aunt, and a dear friend to many. She enjoyed being with her family and her love for them was immeasurable. Jan impacted many women through teaching Bible studies and MOPS ministry throughout West Michigan. She was actively involved for many years at Bella Vista Church as well as Ada Bible Church when her health allowed. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, June 8 at Bella Vista Church, 5100 Belding Road, Rockford, Michigan. Pastor John Frye will be officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, June 7 from 5-8 pm at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont and one hour prior to the service at the church.
