deFREEST - Mrs. Jacqueline M. deFreest aged 91 passed away Monday, January 19, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit; her brother, Joseph Calandrino. Surviving are her sisters, Angeline Zemaitis, Lucia Meredith; several nieces and nephews. Jacqueline enjoyed spending time in Jamaica, traveling there 47 times. She loved animals and retired from McDonald Douglas after 26 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00AM Saturday, January 24, at Our Lady of Sorrows, 101 Hall St. SE Grand Rapids. Her family will greet relatives and friends 4 to 7PM, Friday, January 23, at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
