Mrs.  Frances Ondersma

ONDERSMA - Mrs. Frances J. Ondersma aged 88 went to be with her Lord Friday, December 20, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Holwerda; brothers, John, George and Andrew Holwerda; brother-in-law, William Vander Vennen; sister-in-law, Marlene Holwerda. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Jacob; children, Jodi-Lynn Bartell, Wayne (Sue) Ondersma; grandchildren, Alanna (Mike) Dangreman, Tony Lyon, Andrew (Sara) Lyon, Mackenzie Mills, Keri Buursma, Kimberly (Karac) Zwart, Benjamin (Meg) Ondersma, Kristina (Scott) Brookens; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Joan Vander Vennen; sisters-in-law, Gladys and Sharon Holwerda; brothers-in-law, Frank, Andrew (Jane) Ondersma; many nieces and nephews. Fran was active in evangelism, the Happy Homes Guild of Bethany Christian Services, Coffee Break and Story Hour. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Monday, December 23, 2013 at Brookside Christian Reformed Church, 3600 Kalamazoo Ave. SE., with Pastor Paul DeVries officiating. Her family will greet relatives and friends Sunday from 1 to 3 PM at Brookside CRC and Monday one hour prior to the service at Church. Interment Rest Lawn Memorial Park.
