Mrs.  Elizabeth Towers

TOWERS - Mrs. Elizabeth Sue Towers aged 55 of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, March 18, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother, Julie; grandparents, James and Alice Abrams. Elizabeth will be remembered for her love of family, from her best friend and husband, children, grandchildren to her great grandson, but most of all her love and devotion to God. "Jesus was always there and present in my life" she wrote March 18, 2014. She loved scrapbooking, creating photo albums, and paper dolls. Music was also a very important part of her life. Surviving are her husband of 21 years, Norman; children, Corey Shea, Karen (Gary) Stevenson, Ericka Hebebrand, Jennifer (Kevin) Bates, Shari Ann Brown, Jeremy Ray Brown; eleven grandchildren, Damian Shea, Dylan Knowlton, Paige Shea, Nathan Hebebrand, Summer Hebebrand, Tori Hebebrand, Taylor Hebebrand, Hannah Mitchell, Hunter Bates, Luke Stevenson, AJ McCullough; one great grandson, Xzaviar Shea; father, Carl Cain; brothers, Steve (Amy) Cain, Scott (Mary) Cain, Carl Cain, Jamie (Sherri) Cain; Sisters, Laurie Rohen; Best Friend of 45 years, Shelley Towers; aunt, Karen Fields. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont. Her family will greet relatives and friends on Friday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 PM on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.
