Mrs.  Dorothy Schulz

Dorothy (nee Hoffert) Schulz, age 84, is now sleeping in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ awaiting the resurrection. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Eugene Hoffert. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Alfred; their children, Karen (Cal) Morton, Kenneth Schulz, Eric (Barb) Schulz, and Ellen (Dan) Eggerding; "Grammy's" grandchildren, C.J. Morton, Chelsea Olson, Trevor Schulz, Stephanie Schulz, McKenna & Annie Eggerding. Also surviving is her sister in law, June DeHaan and cousin, Loraine Kieda, who was more like a sister. Dorothy retired from Bell Telephone and was a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2 Michigan Ave. NE, Grand Rapids. The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday evening from 5-8 PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont and one hour prior to the service at the church.
