Mrs.  Clara Pierce

PIERCE (BUSH), CLARA JANE Joined her Lord and Savior on April 29, 2015. Her life was spent in service and touching countless lives. Many through her 68 years of work with Hy and Greta Berkowitz, most at Rogers Dept. Store in Wyoming. Clara was married for 57 years to her precious husband, Harold, before he preceded her in death in 2004. Their son "Doc" Harold Jr. also preceded her death in 2014. She is survived by daughters, Annette Pierce and Shelly (Ken) Loose. Daughter-in-law Kathy Pierce. Grandchildren Kyle (Emily) Pierce, Jason (Crystal) Pierce, Angela (Brian) Johnson, Benjamin Loose, and Katherine Jane Loose. And her five great grandchildren, she especially enjoyed laughing with Owen Johnson in her final days. He had the privilege of giving her the last earthly kiss she received minutes before she entered Heaven. Her presence will be missed greatly by sister, Marge Berrevoets, friends, Phyllis Poeder and Lanny Thodey, and Harold's siblings, Geri Willard, Gordon (Barb) Pierce, Darlene Brown, Bob Pierce, Delores (Sid) Vander Baan and Linda (Bill) McSweeney, as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. A private burial officiated by Pastor John Lowder of Frontline Bible Church of Byron Center was held at Winchester Cemetery in Byron Center. In lieu of flowers, it was Clara's wish that donations be sent to either the Shelly Pierce Loose Medical Support Fund or Ms. Wheelchair Michigan - 990 Woodspointe Dr - Byron Center, MI 49315.
