Mrs.  Audrey Auer

AUER- Audrey Lou Auer, age 83, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Thelma Harless; sisters, Rita Potts and Corinne McCarty; brother, Wayne Harles; nephews, Robert Friend and Andrew Auer and in-laws, Clarence and Ethel Auer. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 62 years, Robert and their children, Linda (Steve) Prescott and Michael (Donna) Auer. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Ryan (Yesenia) Auer, Isaac McCormack, MacKenzie (Reymundo) Gomez and Alex Auer; great grandchildren, Reyleigh Marie and Oliver Joseph Gomez; brothers, Duane Harless, Jay (Marge) Harless and sister, Cherie (Roger) Friend. Audrey was a longtime member of Queens Catholic Church in Jackson; she also volunteered for the Parish and school at Our Lady of Fatima. She enjoyed painting, sewing and gardening and was co-owner with Robert of the ‘Log Cabin Christmas Trees'. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Our Lady of Consolation Parish, 4865 11 Mile Rd. NE, Rockford with Fr. Tony Russo officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to Mass at church.
