Mr.  Walter Shamery

SHAMERY - Mr. Walter Shamery aged 97 went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, June 21, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle; son-in-law, Bob Van Houdt. Surviving are his children, Norm (Marianne) Shamery, Judy Van Houdt, Lora (Tom) Drougel, David (Janna) Shamery; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; his very special friend, Mary Jebb; sister-in-law, Lory (Harold) Vander Schuur; several nieces and nephews. Walt proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. Funeral services will be held 7PM Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. His family will greet relatives and friends from 5PM to 7PM Tuesday prior to the service. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
