Mr.  Stanley Trierweiler

TRIERWEILER- Stanley F. Trierweiler passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Caroline Trierweiler; brothers, Robert, Donald and Gerald Trierweiler. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Dottie; his children, Gwen (Gary) Hawes of Gaylord, MI, Kent (Nancy)Trierweiler of Grand Rapids, MI, Lori (Mark) Vellky of Dublin, OH and Dana (Doreen) Trierweiler of Belmont, MI ; his grandchildren, Garrett and Tiffany Hawes, Max, Austin, David and Jill Trierweiler, Jordan, Madison and Julia Vellky, Drew, Spencer and Annika Trierweiler; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Owen, Hunter and Beckett and his sister, JoAnn Spitzley. Stan proudly served in the United States Army and was the recipient of a National Defense Service Medal . He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Council #5446 and the Retired High School Principal's Association. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1120 4 Mile Rd. NE Grand Rapids. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:45 pm at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont with visitation one hour prior to mass at church also.
