Mr.  Ronald Sukstas

SUKSTAS- Ronald L. Sukstas, age 78 of Grand Rapids passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014 with his family by his side. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Audrey Sukstas and two brothers in law, Robert McKeller and David Cloutier. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Janice; their children, Scott (Brenda) Sukstas, Shari Sukstas and Sally (Tim) Huffman. Ron is also survived by his grandchildren, Timothy and Nicholas Huffman and Jeanette Sukstas; great grandchildren, Elliott and Emmit; sisters, Sandy McKeller and Cynthia Cloutier and several nieces and nephews. Ron was a loyal Detroit Tigers, Lions and Redwings fan and enjoyed watching them on television. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm on Friday, October 3, 2014 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont. The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, October 2 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ron's name may be made to the American Legion Post #179 Auxiliary or to a charity of ones choice.
